Pimaan Thai Restaurant

This is the worst place to order food from. We had a house full of guest and they messed up our entire order. I called back to let them know and the man that picked up the phone said there was nothing we can do. His exact words were come get it or your out of luck. I asked to speak with the manager and they said he is on vacation. This place has terrible customer service and I never will come back here or recommend it to anyone.

I love this restaurant, simply because it serves the best Thai food in the state of New Jersey! We've been regularly eating there for almost 14 years now, and we have never had anything else but a perfect dish served.I don't know how they do it, but it's perfect every time!

One of my go to restaurants when I'm in the area. The red curry, or Thai Basil rice plate are always great, highly recommend having a meal here.

Great Thai food place. I love many of their dishes, notably Pad Woo Sen and Thai Red Curry. The price is decent for its exceptionally tasty food. The servers attentive and helpful. Usually very busy during lunch hours.

Another favorite restaurant. I am salt-sensitive and all food in the menu did not affect my blood pressure. BP soars high in some restaurants. Service is also excellent. Facility including bathroom is very clean.

I am not a big lover of Thai food. I speak as a newbie. But I had the Pad Thai and it was delicious. I felt a tad bit rushed as my friend and I wanted to talk, but the service was quick and the place is lovely.

The food is delicious at Pimaan! Highly recommend the Pimaan roll and the Pad Woo Sen. The chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream is awesome. Good ambience and you can't beat the BYOB!

I adore this spot! They serve excellent food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that spot is very experienced, I enjoy very much eating all their food. The food is always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is nice. I visit often this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.

I am a patron of Piman for more then 20 years and hosted several parties also . I know the owner very well.I had enjoyable experience until tonight. In the middle of our meal I found a piece of a hair in my plate and told to the server,she never apologies and charged me for the food.i politely asked for the owner , and the owner,s Daughter came and she never apologies to me. out then realised she deduct the charge for one plate,even though I had given the full payment. This ruined my Dinner with my family

Ordered a papaya salad that came with an unexpected pungent smell of fish. When we asked the restaurant to take it back, they refused denying there was fish. On to the entree, the red and green vegetable curries were delicious. Overall experience was a mixed bag with an unfavorable (and fishy) aftertaste.

Really good Thai spot. Their pad Thai was fragrant and spicy, and the Tom yum soup was one of the best I've had. Prices are not crazy either.

I eat here a lot since I work close by. I have to say their service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well organized all the time. Rates are affordable and they serve large portions.

Since the day this place opened, we've been hooked! I was around town when the building had a pizza place called "Nola's," and they were putting up that horrible nursing home that's across the street! I don't sit right by the window that looks out across the street, because if I had to look at that nursing home, I'd lose my appetite!I notice a lot of senior citizens eating here, which you wouldn't think because most people think Thai food means spicy. After being an Italian restaurant for so long, I didn't think they'd make a go of it, but they do some business, for good reason!Very reasonable prices and consistently excellent food? They should have got "Best of Bergen," and I was surprised to hear at a council meeting that they got runner up! Not even Thai restaurants in the City come close to the food here. People in Emerson like me are lucky! I hope they're around forever!If you haven't tried it, go!

The place offers a fantastic range of fresh food. I enjoyed eating here. Employees are always very friendly, pricing is convenient and the place is always well organised.

Good ambience, nice and quick service, great tasting main course. Just found a tiny strand of hair in the soup. Couldn't have the soup afterwards and didn't go for the offered replacement of the soup.

Amazing food and very quick service. Lost a star for not having the rack of lamb available to eat whilst keeping it on the menu. I was forced to make a split second entee decision which I was not happy about. Overall it is an amazing place

Always good food, service and BYOB!

Love this place. Small dining area with excellent ambiance and great food. For starters I had a soup made from coconut milk, mushrooms and shrimp. It was really good. I would love to tell you the name but I honestly have no idea. Then I had the pineapple fried rice with beef, level 4 spicey. It also had egg and cashew in it. It was incredible to say the least. This place is everything you're looking for in a Thai restaurant, trust me.

The restaurant has an entrance at the bottom with stairs, and one at the side that is disability friendly. Anytime I've been there with my hubby or his family, I love everything we try! They have the best drunken noodles with vegetarian duck (extra crispy) and I went with a 4 out of 5 for heat. My husband, an omnivore, got the same thing, vegetarian duck included, and he also took the heat at 4 out of 5. He had no problem eating his, but I saved a lot of mine for eating privately with a ton of extra napkins and plain yogurt! Warning: 4 is not for the faint of heart. I recommend 1 or 2 if you want to taste your food, and 3 for spicy, but if you are adventurous, 4 and 5 are not for the weak! The sauces, at any level of heat, are fantastic. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Note: if you want a guarantee for a table, make a reservation. They get busy on Friday-Sunday.

Great drunken noodles

Not as good as on past visits. Waitress was not friendly, refused to move our party of 2 to a different table as that table "had a reservation" yet it remained empty until after we left (we arrived at 5:30 so there were plenty of available tables). Food was good but not as great as on our many other times here, some dishes were not hot (spicy) enough, while others were too hot.

Delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The outside of the building looked older, but the inside had a nice, modern feel. They have vegan and vegetarian options. They have some very spicy food, but you can choose the degree of spice between 1 and 5. I went with a 3 and it was pretty intense.

Taste different from other Thai restaurant I have been to. Since I haven’t been to Thailand so it’s hard to judge which one is more authentic. Food was alright. Inside of restaurant felt so dark even though I was there for lunch.
